We started out at the day at the Renaissance Philadelphia Downtown Hotel and from the moment we walked in I knew it was going to be a great day! The Girls were finishing up with hair and makeup and there was a perfect energy in the room! The guys had it too and everyone was excited to get the day started. They wrote each other the sweetest letters and you could feel the love between them before they even saw each other. Funny story, I asked Alicia how they met and I literally laughed out loud the way she told me… And then when I asked him, the opposite perspective made it even more sweet! Like something out of a movie. But to say the least, I was really excited to get to photograph them together and they certainly didn’t disappoint! The first look was so cute. The weather held out for us and we did their first look at the Second Bank of Philadelphia across the street from their hotel. After some heart felt tears and a lot of laughing their bridal party joined us and we hit the town. We walked through historic Philadelphia and photographed our way through to the 1st Bank. It started to rain a little but wasn’t too bad. The trolly met us there and took the bridal party back to the hotel where we did some family portraits before we headed over to the ceremony at Old Pine Street Church nestled on an adorable spring filled block. The ceremony was sweet and beautiful and watching Nicholas watch her coming down the aisle was amazing! After the ceremony, we took a walk down the streets which were in full bloom and the rain had stopped at the perfect time! We hopped on the trolly and made our way to the Downtown Club for their reception. It looked amazing as always and the staff there is second to none. Their entrance dances were so funny including a little Baby Shark action from one of the couples. After that, they performed a flawless choreographed first dance which ended with a flower pedal canon to take us in to the main festivities. Entertainment was provided by _____ and the crowd was up and dancing! Tons of amazing food and desserts and a lot more dancing we rounded out the night with a few pictures in the window overlooking the city.
Thanks for having us capture your day guys, you are so much fun and it was an absolute pleasure getting to know you and spending the day with you guys! I hope you love these!!
