A Little About me...

I love photographing People! People are so interesting to me. Every Wedding, Corporate Session, Baby Portrait and Family Portrait are different from the next because of the people who are in it!!
People always ask me what my style is... Well, I would say it's fun, moody, colorful, black and white, soothing, edgy, creative, traditional, but most of all unique... My style changes from person to person and location to location... I adapt to my surroundings... I feed off of my subject. I absolutely love that about what I do!!

I fell in love with photography in the early 90's when I was just a kid... I think I was hooked by the first roll of Tri-X that went through my borrowed slr. It wasn't long before I was saving every penny I could for film and an upgrade... I went to RIT for college and graduated with a degree in photography as well as several awards and a lot of knowledge about my photography... In the past couple decades or so a lot has changed in the world of photography and I feel so fortunate to have been involved in the transformation of photography as it moved from film to digital! I have a deep love for the dark room and good old film but my love for technology had me completely intrigued with Digital!! The first Digital camera I used was the Nikon D1X and I was fortunate enough to have access to one with the studio I was working at. I headed up their transition in to the digital age and haven't looked back since... Since then digital cameras have come a LONG way and they continue to improve.

As you may imagine, photography is a Huge part of my life; I incorporate it in to everything I do. The only thing of greater enjoyment and love is my family and friends... I am so lucky to have an amazing wife and 4 kids that amaze me on a daily basis!

Julia + Joe ~ Ballroom at the Ben Wedding ~ Philadelphia

Oh these two!! When I met Joe and Julia in Hoboken NJ for their engagement session, I was blown away by how much fun they are! Honestly we couldn’t stop laughing the whole time. Their wedding day was no different. Smiles for days from these guys, and everyone else around them. The infectious energy was hard to miss! I am so happy to have been a part of their day and I even got to see a few of my favorite familiar faces from previous weddings! We started off at the lovely Loews Hotel for getting ready and their first look, then took a walk down to City Hall. We headed over to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and of course had to do a little Rocky impersonation… It was super windy but these guys took it in stride and we even found a beautiful flowering tree! After that, we landed at the Ballroom at the Ben where we were greeted by their amazing staff and got to chill out for a little bit while we waited for the ceremony to get started. The ceremony was beautiful and touching, cocktail hour was amazing and we partied like bosses for the rest of the night!
